Agnes Havas is a senior film and television professional with 30 years experience in film production, television programming and distribution. She started her career at the Co-Production Department of Hungarian Television (MTV). After 9 years at MTV she became Head of Distribution at the English – Hungarian joint venture,  Intervideo.  Dealing with the Hungarian home video release of prime Hollywood product for 4 years, she was soon invited to become Head of Acquisitions and later Head of Programming of HBO Hungary. She was the first Programming Director of the documentary channel Spektrum.
In 1996 she joined TV3 as Programming Director and a couple years later became Head of Film Acquisitions at TV2 Hungary. Before Havas Films, Agnes was managing director and producer of the Hungarian production company Skyfilm.

Judit Minda started her career in the former Jugoslavia working for the Novi Sad Studio of JRT (Jugoslav Radio and Television) as selector -  buyer of foreign programs: series, films and documentaries.     
After moving to Hungary in 1993 she soon became one of the founding members of the first Hungarian documentary channel, Spektrum TV, launched in 1995. As Head of Programming, she turned Spektrum TV into  the most popular documentary channel in Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In 1998 she became Director of Programming for HBO Hungary as well. In 2000, due to her extensive television programming experience, she was appointed Vice President of Programming, HBO Central Europe, covering 10 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. During her tenure, the company launched HBO2, HBO Comedy and Cinemax the second pay TV service of the HBO family. She also managed the programming activities necessary for launching the Subscription Video On Demand service of the HBO group. She was executive producer of  Born Loser, a  black comedy series  locally produced for HBO Hungary. After 13 years at HBO she teamed up with Agnes Havas and founded Havas Films in 2009.

 

Julianna Ugrin
She started to work in the documentary film field at Flora Film International, a Hungarian production company, as assistant producer and international project manager. She was working in the development of 300 Tons of Gold, a documentary by Tibor Kocsis and she started the development of the documentary entitled Kubala. Since March 2009, she is part of Havas Films’s team as a documentary producer. In 2009 she participated at EURODOC training programme with the project In the Likeness of God. In 2010 she is part of DRAGON FORUM international documentary film workshop with A Disturbing Connection, a documentary project by Csaba Szekeres.

 

Gabor Pataki founded the translation and interpretation services company L.C. Limited Partnership in1990. He is a qualified translator and interpreter in the English and Russian languages. He created the Hungarian version for many foreign films released in Hungary and provided translation services for film related firms like Budapest Film, HBO Hungary, Intervideo, Hungarian Television and TV2. He joined the team of two experienced television and film industry professionals founding Havas Films in 2009.
